About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical and mental health conditions, using your compassion and experience to help customers move forward with their lives.

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.

You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision.

Requirements

  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
