Job Title: Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at AM Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of electrical and control systems for water treatment assets globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical and controls design of water treatment assets globally.
  • Provide electrical and controls support for the execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile, and BOO projects.
  • Responsible for design execution on time delivery and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with CE marking and UKCA certifications.
  • Develop and maintain good working knowledge of NAM standards as UL and CSA design certifications and standards.
  • Design and develop electrical and control panel designs and equipment selection and sizing.
  • Lead and troubleshoot PLC designs, integration, and commissioning.
  • Conduct HAZOPs and product safety reviews.
  • Collaborate with fabrication facilities, sourcing, and product management.
  • Lead, coach, and train outsource engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • B.Sc. in Engineering/Science/Master or related technical experience.
  • Qualifications or certifications in electrical design and installations.
  • Good knowledge of water process, electrical control, and mechanical designs.
  • Able to work on material and equipment selection and sizing.
  • Knowledge in PLC designs and integrations - Allan Bradley and Siemens.
  • Experience directly in engineering design.
  • Experience in a product/services business in water treatment.
  • Strong water process and project management skills.
  • Ability to drive projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
