Senior Tax and Partnership Accounts Manager

This leading US law firm is a top destination for finance houses worldwide. They excel in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securitizations, with a global presence across Europe, North & South America, and the Far East.

The firm is seeking a Head of Tax and Partnership Accounts to collaborate closely with their US tax team, handling US and foreign compliance tax matters and global partnership accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement BEPS Pillar Two compliance strategies.
  • Issue inter-company invoices for re-charges and income recognition.
  • Work with the Firm's NY tax team on global tax reporting & compliance for non-US partners.
  • Collaborate with the Firm's NY tax team on US foreign tax credit reporting for US partners.
  • Understand the firm's entity & tax structure and advise on efficient tax structuring.
  • Maintain non-US partners' tax reserves for review by the US Tax Team.
  • Develop global models of partner income and distribution.
  • Manage relationships with external professional advisers, lead tax partners, and local tax authorities as needed.
  • Monitor tax legislation changes and advise the business on appropriate actions.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties related to international taxation and partner remuneration.

Candidate Profile:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
  • International law firm experience.
  • Knowledge of US, UK, and foreign tax required.
  • Good experience with transfer pricing required.
  • A good understanding of multi-currency environments.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and executive-level stakeholder influence.
  • Understanding of costs and balance sheet accounting.
