About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with students who have complex needs, including Autism, Down's Syndrome, and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to students, adapting materials and resources to meet their needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, monitoring and recording student progress.
  • Liaise with parents and carers, contributing to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in accessing sensory activities and therapies.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with additional needs in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEND.
  • A positive and caring attitude, with the ability to provide support and care to students.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
