Delivering Exceptional Service in Detention Custody
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Detention Custody Officer to join our team at Manston Short-Term Holding Facility. As a key member of our Care & Custody team, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of security and safety while promoting the welfare and decency of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid UK manual driving licence
- Valid UK passport or settled status and indefinite leave to remain

Training and Development:
As a Detention Custody Officer, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this challenging role. Our 4-week initial training course will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service to our residents. Ongoing mentoring and assessments will also be provided to help you achieve our accredited Level 3 apprenticeship in Detention and Custody.
