Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our Data Science and AI team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the impact of AI at Abcam.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and operate scalable AI applications
  • Innovate and enhance Abcam's AI Tech Stack
  • Implement and promote best practices for code quality, standardization, documentation, and software development lifecycle
  • Improve the technical quality and reliability of AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation
  • Collaborate closely with our TechOps, Data Engineering, Architecture, and Cyber Security teams for seamless technology integration

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Expert programming skills in Python
  • In-depth knowledge of how to apply AI frameworks and models
  • Proven experience in the technical development, deployment, and operation of AI solutions
  • Understanding of AI models
  • Experience with SQL, GitLab, GitCI, JavaScript, MLflow, Airflow, Jira
  • Experience with cloud and AI services from AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Experience with automated ML frameworks and UI development
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Familiarity with configuring GitLab CI pipelines
  • Familiarity with data structures, data platforms, and data integration
