Project Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Project Procurement Specialist to join our team at Chart Industries. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for engineered projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement process for engineered projects, including issuing enquiries, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and expediting orders.
- Implement the EMENA Supply Chain strategy in collaboration with the EMENA New Build Procurement Lead.
- Ensure purchase orders are placed with approved suppliers, securing the best commercial terms while ensuring contractual requirements are met.
- Monitor supplier performance, managing non-conformances and corrective actions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions, supporting cost framework agreements with suppliers.
- Oversee quality inspections, coordinating internal and customer quality control (QC) activities.
- Facilitate supplier visits by clients, client representatives, and internal stakeholders.
- Diploma or 3+ years of post-apprentice experience in Mechanical/Fabrication Engineering.
- Proven experience in managing global suppliers, with strong cultural awareness and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience, preferably in project-related procurement or fabrications.
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
