National Health Service Scotland (NHSScotland) is seeking a highly skilled public health consultant to join our team in Screening Oversight and Assurance Scotland (SOAS). As a key member of our Clinical Directorate, you will contribute to the national coordination of Scotland's six national screening programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with national screening programs to ensure effective coordination and delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve screening outcomes and patient experience.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines to support screening programs.

Requirements:

  • Membership of the Faculty of Public Health or equivalent.
  • Registration on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council in Public Health with a licence to practise.
  • Substantial experience working at consultant level within national screening programs.
