We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tutor to join our team at Smart Education Recruitment. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students in a home setting, working with students of various ages and backgrounds, and differentiating needs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the individual needs of students.
- Support students in re-engaging with education and achieving their academic goals.
- Utilize a creative and versatile teaching style to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE) or extensive tuition experience.
- Subject specialism in English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Experience working with children and young people with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH).
- Experience working with disengaged young people or looked after children.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire one.
