Head of Planning and Development Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Planning to take on a key leadership role within our planning team. As Head of Planning and Development, you will be responsible for leading planning services on strategic infrastructure and renewable energy projects, managing project programmes and budgets, and mentoring junior staff members.

About Our Company:

Attractive Package: £100,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and pension scheme. Bonus details to be confirmed upon successful application.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning services on strategic infrastructure and renewable energy projects, managing project programmes and budgets.
• Develop and implement planning strategies for clients across the UK & Ireland, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely delivery.
• Mentor and support junior staff members, promoting career development and growth within the company.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning and energy policies, best practices, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and success.

Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of the Scottish planning system and experience working on large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Strong commercial skills, with a proven track record of securing new business and growing existing accounts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
