About the Role

Oxford Innovation Space is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Innovation Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and innovation across our network of innovation spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic business coaching and innovation support to businesses based in our innovation spaces
  • Develop and implement business growth and innovation strategies to drive commercial success
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, investors, and partners
  • Work closely with our team to deliver business management and development services to early-stage businesses
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial resources to drive business growth
Requirements
  • Degree-level standard of education or a recognised professional business qualification
  • Proven track record in business leadership, either working at senior director level within large corporates or as a small business owner
  • Strong understanding of the business support landscape and the needs of SMEs
  • Ability to influence at owner/manager or senior director levels
  • Successful track record of achievement in enterprise and innovation development
  • Previous experience of delivering business management and development services to early-stage businesses
What We Offer
  • Salary of up to £52,000, pro rata
  • 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, pro rata
