About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and patient Female Support Assistant to support a teenager with Down's syndrome in accessing activities in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the individual in accessing activities such as swimming, cycling, and walking.
- Assist with personal care needs.
- Be a good communicator and liaise with the family.
Requirements
- Reliability and good communication skills.
- Patience and understanding when supporting the individual.
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality.
- Owner driver is essential.
Working Hours
2 x 3 hour sessions per week on a Wednesday between 3pm – 6pm and a Sunday 9.30 am – 12.30 lunchtime.
Rate of Pay
£12.60 per hour.
