We are looking for an experienced Child Welfare Specialist to join our Family Assessment and Support Team at Charles Hunter Associates.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience and a degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to deliver a service that safeguards and promotes the welfare of children.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Completing social work assessments and progressing child cases to ICPC when appropriate
  • Working with children and families to address and identify needs or concerns
  • Holding child in need plans and taking on requests from social workers

**About the Role**

This frontline team delivers a service that safeguards and promotes the welfare of children.

The team works closely with social workers to address and identify needs or concerns for the child and the family.

The successful candidate will have a UK driver's license and access to their own vehicle.

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience are required for this role.
