Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, working closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, businesses, trusts, and grant givers to secure financial support for our initiatives.
- Oversee our grants and partnership-related income, providing regular reports to our stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive impact and storytelling strategy to inspire donors and trusts to support our mission.
- Lead and manage a small team, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Develop and maintain corporate sponsorship and support to enable us to launch new initiatives and services for young people.
- Proven experience in business development, bid writing, and fundraising.
- Strong track record of success in securing business partnerships and funding.
- Passion for supporting and advocating for the rights of young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Annual leave: 5 weeks for the first 5 years, with additional days depending on length of service.
- Additional 3 statutory days and bank holidays.
- Pension contributions starting at 6% rising to 8% in the third year.
