Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our depot-based team in Newcastle. As a Depot-based Lifting Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing, maintenance, and repair of our lifting hire equipment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical equipment, with a strong focus on health and safety in the workplace. You will play a key role in ensuring that high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of lifting equipment
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and improve processes
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures

About Speedy Hire
