The Job Description

As a Localization Content Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and cultural relevance of FARFETCH's brand across multiple platforms. Your primary focus will be on localizing brand & marketing copy, UX copy, and B2B content while managing an external network of language vendors for French.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Localise and adapt brand & marketing copy, UX content, and B2B materials to engage local audiences while maintaining FARFETCH's distinct tone of voice;
  2. Guarantee a seamless customer journey by translating and adapting UX copy, making it user-friendly and culturally relevant for users;
  3. Manage an external network of translation vendors, offering guidance and feedback to ensure that all outsourced copy assets meet FARFETCH's quality standards and deadlines;
  4. Develop and maintain language style guides, tone of voice guidelines, and terminology databases for the farfetch.com French website;
  5. Design and deliver language training materials and guidelines to internal teams and external vendors, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand voice across all channels;
  6. Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product, and UX design to ensure that all localized copy aligns with business objectives and resonates with the target audience;
  7. Regularly review and audit website content, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with language guidelines;
  8. Participate actively in cross-functional projects, contributing insights on localization strategies and supporting the global content teams in delivering high-quality localized copy;
  9. Promote continuous improvement of language quality, identifying and addressing areas for optimization in both internal and vendor-delivered content.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
