Job Title: Quantum Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Consultant to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Quantum Consultant, you will play a crucial role in carrying out claims and contract administration for our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, with experience in claims and formal dispute proceedings. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of claims for loss and expense and other contractual entitlements, as well as supporting with the preparation of adjudication documentation.

You will also be expected to conduct quantum forensic analysis of tender, contract, and claims documentation, and draft written reports setting out process, conclusions, and recommendations. Additionally, you will provide strategic advice at all stages of the construction life cycle and proactively manage cashflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of claims for loss and expense and other contractual entitlements
  • Support with the preparation of adjudication documentation
  • Conduct quantum forensic analysis of tender, contract, and claims documentation
  • Draft written reports setting out process, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Provide strategic advice at all stages of the construction life cycle
  • Proactively manage cashflow
Requirements
  • Experience working in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management background
  • Familiarity with claims and formal dispute proceedings
  • Strong reports writing skills
  • Good written and spoken English
