About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Outside Process Controller to join our Interiors Business Unit of Collins Aerospace, based in the UK.

This role supports the day-to-day operations team in manufacturing a wide variety of products to support a busy fast-paced low-batch high-mix manufacturing capability within the aerospace interiors spares business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Order Management: Manage OSP vendor orderbooks, ensuring accurate reporting and timely delivery.
  • Order Book Reviews: Facilitate order book reviews with vendors to ensure alignment with business demands.
  • Lead Time Management: Monitor lead time accuracy by vendor to meet WO/SO demand.
  • Vendor Price Book Management: Review vendor price books to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Supplier Billing and Invoice Resolution: Resolve supplier billing and invoice discrepancies.
  • Kits Enablement: Enable kits for external processes within vendor lead times.
  • Weekly OSP Order Book Management Reviews: Conduct weekly reviews of OSP order books.
  • Expediting Requests: Expedite requests for OSP vendors.
  • Vendor Service Tracking: Develop and track vendor service metrics to improve inventory efficiencies.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze data to identify trends and improve processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage and lead a continuous improvement mindset within the Operations planning team.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to Ethics, Compliance, Health & Safety, and Quality protocols.
  • Purchase Order Management: Create and process purchase orders.
  • Quote Management: Manage timely quotes.
  • OSP Quality Assurance: Focus on OSP quality assurance.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Operations planning and manufacturing leadership.
  • Delivery and Arrears Management: Ensure on-time delivery and manage arrears performance.
Requirements
  • Related Experience: Related experience in supply chain or planning environments or manufacturing backgrounds.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Business Development and Strategic Planning: Demonstrated strong business development and strategic planning skills.
  • Statistics and Financial Analysis: Solid understanding of statistics and financial analysis.
  • Analytical and Numerical Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
