Client Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Client Associate to join our team at Neuberger Berman. As a Client Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our Consultant Relations team in their day-to-day client activity and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide essential support to the Consultant Relations team, including database management, maintaining the CRM system, producing pipeline activity and meeting notes.
- Liaise and collaborate with colleagues in Portfolio Management, Client Service, Marketing and Compliance teams for client deliverables.
- Organise business development activity, including presentations and request for proposals, ensuring all activity follows the regulatory framework.
- Conduct market research, consultant updates and assist the team on appropriate business strategies and client analysis.
- Organise and proactively support consultant events and marketing collateral efforts.
- Graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Experience of using Salesforce, or similar CRM system.
- Preferred working towards or having completed IMC, and/or CFA, or CAIA.
- 1 years' experience at another Asset Manager and/or UK Intermediary/Wholesale experience is desirable but not essential.
- A self-starter, who works in a precise and timely manner, who can take ownership to move initiatives forward.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate and partner across the business.
- A strong interest in asset management, financial services, and financial markets.
- Strong communication both written and verbal skills and presentation skills.
- Strongly numerate with a good working knowledge of Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about top fundamental and quantitative investment strategies given regular interaction with proven Portfolio Managers, located around the world. The role provides on-going support to senior relationship managers in the field, to further relationship management capacity and meet consultants' specific needs.
