Job Title: Fabricator Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team at a leading plastics manufacturer. As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding components for frames, manifold tables, and adapter tapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabrication and welding of components using CNC and brake press machinery
  • Quality control and sign-off of jobs to ensure high standards
  • Preparing cutting lists and finishing cut material for welding
  • Marking up components and preparing bolt lists
  • Notifying the Fabrication Supervisor of any errors on the drawing
  • Continuous improvement and offering advice on process and machine improvements
Requirements:
  • 3 years' proven experience in a fabrication environment
  • Strong team player with adaptable skills
  • Experience with TIG welding, MIG welding, and Arc welding
  • Knowledge of CNC, brake press, and guillotine machinery
  • Sheet metal work and machine maintenance skills
Working Hours and Rate of Pay:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Friday: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm. Starting rate: £15.00 per hour, training rate: £15.50 per hour (after 3 months), and £16.00 per hour (once fully skilled on plasma and press equipment).
