Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Shepshed is a part of our organization, and we are currently looking for a Casual Nursery Worker to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide support to our children and staff. As a Casual Nursery Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our children, while also contributing to maintaining a positive and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a positive role model to ensure that our values are maintained
• Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents, and children
• Supervise and support children at all times
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of qualified practitioners
• Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
• Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures, and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors, and work colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required
