We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in site management within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of new build housing processes and NHBC. You will be required to manage subcontractors and coordinate construction activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
You will also be responsible for monitoring project progress and quality of work, reporting to the Project Manager. In addition, you will be expected to provide leadership and motivation to a team, using your excellent communication skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold SMSTS certification, a CSCS card, valid First Aid certification, and a Full UK Driving Licence. You must also have proficient project planning and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of project management principles.
Working Environment
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable construction company, offering a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated salary for this role is £62,000 - £72,000 per annum, based on the location and job requirements.
