Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the pharmacy department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the pharmacy department, including staff supervision and training
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor and manage pharmacy budgets and resources
Requirements:
- GPHC Registration
- Senior/Managerial Pharmacy experience
- NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacy qualification
- At least 7 years of hospital experience and currently working at 8a
- Should demonstrate recent evidence of work in one or more of these areas: Medication Safety Policy & Governance, Medicines Information
