About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Home Care Assistant, supporting individuals in their own homes. As a key member of our care team, you will help customers maintain their independence and quality of life by providing personalized care and support.

You will work closely with our care managers to understand each customer's needs and preferences, and develop a tailored care plan that meets their requirements. This may include assisting with daily living tasks, preparing meals and snacks, and engaging in activities that promote social interaction and companionship.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a compassionate and caring individual with excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for customers
  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with light domestic duties
  • Support customers with mobility issues, including transfers and mobilization
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction and companionship
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK
  • Driving license and use of own car required (mileage reimbursed)
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including alternate weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
