Maintenance Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Allied Electronics & Automation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactively respond to equipment failures and proactively undertake maintenance on equipment in the distribution centre.
- Develop your knowledge and seek support from technicians and shift managers.
- Identify and carry out additional improvement projects.
- Assist in the installation and trials of new equipment.
- Recognise gaps in your knowledge and seek development and training.
- Ensure all duties are carried out with health and safety as the main focus.
Requirements:
- Exposure to MHE equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and detection equipment.
- Desire to work towards specific qualifications.
- Knowledge of risk assessment activities.
- General knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Good general health and no restrictions on mobility.
- Experience working alone and using your own initiative.
- Experience working within a team.
- Flexibility to achieve tasks within deadlines.
