About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at Unilever. As a key member of our Marketing and Business Services Procurement team, you will play a critical role in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the needs of our business groups and global brand teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business groups, global brand teams, and functions.
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Work closely with supplier operations to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business models and marketing portfolios across the value chain.
  • Drive the adoption and execution of a shared vision and strategy for change, leveraging data-led insights to inform decision-making.
  • Support the delivery of OKRs and financial targets for the business group, including value delivery.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders globally to support business, market, and marketing procurement priorities.
  • Ensure portfolio fundamentals, including data consistency, data insights, recurring stakeholder communications, and contracts, are in place for the business group.
  • Support future-proofing the marketing portfolio by driving digital approaches that simplify the life for our brand teams and unlock efficiencies in the marketing value chain.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in strategic sourcing, marketing operations, and procurement. You will have a proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, marketing operations, or procurement.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with procurement transformation, change, and business engagement.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
