Opportunity for Impact

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual eager to make a real impact and contribute to the continued growth of our business. You will ideally be based in Derbyshire, Rotherham, or Leeds.

As a Contracts Manager, you are detail-oriented, excel in record keeping and document management, and possess strong communication skills, comfortably engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You thrive on implementing ideas and driving continuous improvements across the organization. In this role, alongside the management team, you will be empowered to make decisions rather than simply raising questions for someone else to decide.

Your role is crucial in sustaining a strong performance within the business while also growing volume and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply an analytical approach to work and effectively contribute to the annual business plan.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals and may lead a team, depending on the specific circumstances.
  • Ensure strong performance by delivering exceptional customer service while simultaneously working towards increasing volume and expanding the customer base.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of surfacing activities in either a local authority or strategic road networking environment.
  • A qualification or membership in a relevant technical institution is desirable, although not essential.
  • SMSTS Site Managers Safety Training scheme is desirable.
