Job Opportunity: Heating Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a national heating contractor to recruit self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing service and repair contract in the Loughborough, Keyworth, and Melton area.

Contract Details:
  • Location: Loughborough, Keyworth, and Melton
  • Work Type: Annual Service Visits (Annual Gas Safety Check), Landlord Gas Safety Records, and central heating repairs
  • Work Load: 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day
  • Commitment: Minimum of 3 days per week, with optional weekends and evening call-out available at enhanced rates
  • Contract Length: Ongoing (no end date)
  • Payment terms:
    • Rates:
      • Annual Service Visit (Annual Gas Safety check): £26.25 per completed property (full van stock and parts supplied)
      • Linked Repair: £38.44 plus Annual Service Visit Rate (if repair required at Annual Gas Safety Check)

  • Long-term ongoing contract with consistent regular work all year round
Requirements:
  • 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
  • ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
  • Panel Van (plain or sign written)
  • Gas Safe Registration
  • Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
  • £2m Public Liability Insurance
  • No unspent criminal convictions
