About the Role:

As the face of the company, you will be responsible for leading the Castlford showroom team at Sofa.com.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

  • Leadership Responsibilities: Manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every customer interaction is positive and memorable, providing expert advice on products and helping them make informed decisions.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Visual Display: Maintain the showroom's appearance, ensuring that all products are beautifully displayed and the showroom is inviting and reflective of the Sofa.com brand.
  • Stock Management: Oversee stock levels, ensure accurate stock reporting, and manage product replenishment to keep the showroom fully stocked.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that all showroom operations are carried out efficiently, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for your team, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational issues, and present them to senior management with actionable insights.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a retail manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, particularly in visual merchandising.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet sales targets, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
