About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Smart Start Nursery School. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work in partnership with our educator team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich, stimulating experiences
  • Build relationships with the team to create an inspiring working environment
  • Complete assignments and training to gain relevant childcare qualifications
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills
  • Some experience working with babies or children under the age of 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • A commitment to reflecting our values of responsibility, openness, and working together
