Transport Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team in Hampshire. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods to specialist areas, planning routes, and scheduling drivers' routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a busy transport office to coordinate the transportation of goods
- Manage the transportation of goods to specialist areas
- Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient delivery
- Schedule drivers' routes to meet customer requirements
- Liaise with clients to ensure their requests are met and updates are provided in case of any issues
- Liaise with drivers to ensure the smooth delivery of goods within agreed time frames and manage any issues that arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Transport and Logistics
- Experience in route planning (although this can be taught)
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of organization and administration skills
- Good geographical knowledge of Hampshire
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
