Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI and Advanced Analytics team at STARK Building Materials UK Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a lead role in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions on a product basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop overall AI systems using data science and software engineering best practices.
  • Work on a range of projects across the business to positively impact financial performance.
  • Collaborate and direct Data Scientists to turn prototypes into production-grade AI systems.
  • Write production-grade Python and SQL code for feature engineering and model pipelines.
  • Collaborate with digital areas to ensure interpretability and reliability of AI systems.
  • Contribute to and improve overall team standards and best practices.
  • Nurture and develop good working relationships with the team, project stakeholders, and customers.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a hands-on developer role within an AI team.
  • Previous programming experience with data in Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Python data & AI stack.
  • Experience of MLOps and associated tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets/big data architectures.
