About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our client's Executive Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead the annual budget process and provide financial planning and management
  • Oversee all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
  • Present period and year-to-date financial reports with accompanying analyses and commentary
  • Manage the production of Statutory Accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Drive improvement in SAP governance and process compliance
  • Oversee import and export compliance and ensure relevant returns are filed
  • Provide commercial and financial insight, support, management, and control for the Leadership Team, the Divisional Management, and the Board
Requirements
  • Proven track record in a finance leadership role, preferably in a similar sized growing SME
  • Strong commercial acumen, drive, and ambition with the ability to be hands-on and work with a small leadership team
  • Excellent communication skills and good IT knowledge, ideally having implemented or upgraded an ERP system in previous roles
  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative management style
  • Ability to manage, develop, and mentor a small team of 4
