Quantity Surveyor Role

The Project Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for supporting the commercial aspects of various projects within Technical Global Solutions. This role requires a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contracting, with the ability to navigate all project levels—from the client to the subcontractor supply chain.

Key Objectives:

  • Manage project costs efficiently across multiple sites.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while keeping projects within budget.
  • Oversee the commercial elements of various projects.
  • Support and manage other Surveyors when necessary.
  • Ensure safe and compliant project delivery in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve contractual terms, handling commercial correspondence and collaborating with legal advisors as needed.
  • Attend site meetings to discuss contractual matters and provide advice on project-related issues.
  • Evaluate variations and track project performance.
  • Analyze project documentation to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including cost analysis reports, and manage procurement orders in a timely fashion.
  • Provide expertise in dispute resolution and risk management.
  • Assist in enhancing the supply chain and performing commercial audits.
  • Generate cash flow forecasts and ensure all contract notices are issued on time.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to place supplier and subcontractor orders.
  • Prepare and submit client payment applications and reconcile project reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
