Job Details:
This is a full-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant and Intervention Specialist position available in a specialist provision for pupils with SEMH and EBD, many of whom experience SEN, all of whom have an EHCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised support to pupils with EHCPs.
- Work alongside the school SENCO and SLT to plan and deliver interventions both academic as well as social and emotional interventions.
- Support students with their transition into school.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN or SEMH students is essential.
- Current Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service or willingness to undergo one upon application.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Registration with Teaching Personnel before commencement.
What We Offer:
- A rate of £110+ per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
- A 37-hour working week; term-time only, including INSET days.
- The potential to secure a permanent school contract after a successful trial period.
- Weekly PAYE through timesheets, with no agency fees or umbrella company.
About the Role:
This role will involve working with students who experience ASC, so experience with such needs would be highly beneficial.
