The Purchasing Assistant role is a critical position within SF Recruitment (Leicester)'s professional services department. This 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity allows the successful candidate to provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department, reporting directly to the Senior Buyer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing Support: The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing supplier communications, ensuring timely and budget-friendly deliveries of goods.
  • Order Management: Collate and update purchase orders, follow up on outstanding orders, and manage supplier acknowledgments efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance for pricing, vendor management, and filing tasks.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, flexible, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in procurement or administration is desirable, with training provided for the right candidate.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
