Chiller Engineer Job Description

W H Bence is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to join their team. As a Chiller Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing chilled water systems throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance visits on chilled water systems
  • Carry out onsite repairs and maintenance on A/C equipment
  • Attend routine maintenance visits and off-site equipment breakdowns
  • Field breakdowns over the phone and assist service engineers with phone support
  • Maintain and order necessary filters and parts for stock and ongoing repairs
  • Ensure job cards from third-party visits are requested and uploaded onto company software
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on chiller equipment
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to develop and improve existing and new chiller systems
  • Monitor chiller emails and respond accordingly, working with Bence service support
Requirements:
  • Preferable 5 years' experience as a FGAS qualified engineer
  • Previous experience in servicing chilled water/refrigeration equipment is essential
  • Ability to use own initiative to conduct fault finding
  • Must hold a full UK Driving License as this position involves travel
  • Air conditioning knowledge would be an advantage but not critical
