Salary: £22,500 to £27,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Qualification Required: Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years and Childcare
Job Description:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our nursery in Worthing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and promoting children's early education and development, planning and providing effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school.
Key Responsibilities:- To implement and promote the policies and procedures to ensure the ethos, implementation and legal requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage are met.
- To support children's development and their individual needs.
- To demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for childcare and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- To make accurate and productive use of assessment and develop effective and informed practice.
- To safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
- To work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- At least 1 year's experience working in a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
- All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
