Project Manager Position at Bridges Electrical Engineers

Bridges Electrical Engineers, a leading company in the field of engineering and construction, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of project management techniques, including planning, monitoring, and controlling programs. Experience with Microsoft Project/P6 and health & safety legislation is also highly desirable. SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely certification would be advantageous. A full UK driving license is mandatory due to the need to travel to client sites regularly.

About the Job

This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car/car allowance, health cash plan, and pension scheme contribution. Our hybrid working model allows for flexibility while still requiring regular office attendance and travel to client sites.

In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, coordinating resources and managing timelines to deliver exceptional results. With a strong focus on health & safety, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to creating a positive work environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and subcontractors on assigned projects
  • Responsible for health & safety of self and all under control, completion of RAMS
  • Create and manage project documentation and control project expenditure
  • Closely liaise and manage clients and other stakeholders
  • Proactively manage environmental impact
