Special Needs Support Assistant

We are seeking dedicated and passionate graduates to join our team of SEN Learning Support Assistants in top-rated schools in Central London, Brent.
About the RoleThis rewarding opportunity offers the chance to empower primary-aged children with SEND, helping them reach their full potential. As a Special Needs Support Assistant, you will work alongside excellent leadership teams and experienced professionals, assisting with delivering engaging lessons following the National Curriculum.
The role is ideal for recently graduated individuals looking for hands-on experience and career progression opportunities. You will receive tailored training and support from our exceptional SENDCo and SEN Leadership Team Members.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with delivering engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of students with SEND
- Work alongside teachers and other support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments
- Support students with individualised plans and strategies to overcome challenges
- Develop strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to provide effective support
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field with a focus on SEND
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Paid weekly salary of £475-£550 (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Term-time only work arrangement
