Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Associate Director Building Surveyor to lead our building surveying division at Conrad Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and expanding our expertise in party wall matters, retrofit solutions, and ESG initiatives.

About the Opportunity: This is an exceptional chance for a Chartered Building Surveyor to take on a leadership role and develop their skills in quality assurance, contract administration, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality standards of building projects to ensure they meet specifications and comply with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and expectations.
  • Lead pre- and post-contract work, including contract administration and project oversight.
  • Conduct detailed building surveys and assessments, compiling compliance reports, and producing rental and capital value reports.
  • Perform regular site inspections to verify adherence to plans and industry standards, collaborating with stakeholders to address quality-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor with 4+ years of experience, ideally in residential and educational sectors.
  • Confident in a client-facing role with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Skilled in quality assurance processes, knowledgeable of building regulations, and experienced in contract administration.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is estimated to be £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a car allowance and opportunities for professional development.
