Job Overview

Euthenia Recruitment Ltd/T.A.2020 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Aftermarket PCE Technician to join their team in Inverurie.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technician to work with a market leader in the industry.

The Role

As the Aftermarket PCE Technician, you will be responsible for safely and accurately disassembling, assembling, and testing Pressure Control Products, including BOPs, Lubricators, Toolcatchers, Quick Test Subs, Greaseheads, Check valves, Flanges, and Air operated Hydraulic Control Modules. You will also perform repairs and report quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

As the Aftermarket PCE Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

Reading, interpreting, and following blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products

Service and repairing hydraulic systems as per designs/procedures, ensuring the cleanliness of hydraulic systems is always maintained

Carrying out work instructions as given by Supervisor, e.g., work specifications, equipment operation

Monitoring and controlling materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or faults

Identifying product defects and completing appropriate documentation when defects are identified

Reworking and/or repairing assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

Maintaining quality and quantity of production

Checking work via use of gauges, visuals, and measuring tools

Requirements

To be considered for the Aftermarket PCE Technician role, you must have the following skills and experience:

Ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information

Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings, schematics, and ETS as well as written instructions and procedures

Ability to learn the context of a challenge and quickly integrate new skills
