Fundraising Opportunity

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Reader Volunteer. As a volunteer reader, you will provide companionship to someone we support at our service in Leatherhead by spending time with them, visiting them, and reading to them. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to have a direct impact on the lives of others while developing new skills through our training programme.

Job Description Summary

This is a part-time volunteer position that requires flexibility in your schedule. You will need to be punctual and reliable, with good communication skills and a kind, empathetic, and patient approach. The successful candidate will also be required to undergo DBS checks and satisfactory references before commencing the role.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual who can commit to this rewarding role. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Estimated salary: £15.00-20.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
