Teaching Opportunity in a Specialist Behavioural School

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN KS3/4 Humanities Teacher to join an Independent Specialist Behavioural Needs School in West London.

Vacancy Details:
  • Position: SEN Humanities Teacher (KS4)
  • School Type: Independent Specialist Behavioural Needs School (PRU)
  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Full Time, 5 days per week
  • Contract: Long-term position with potential to turn into a permanent placement

You will be responsible for teaching Humanities to Key Stage 4 students with diverse learning needs. Your students will range from those preparing for GCSEs to those at entry or functional skills levels. This requires proficiency in teaching across varied abilities. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and assessing all lessons.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), teaching qualifications, or relevant teaching experience within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
  • Experience in teaching Humanities or SEN pupils
  • Specialised SEN teaching experience is essential
  • A valid DBS check on the update service
  • The right to work full-time in the UK
