About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Powys Teaching Health Board. As a Community Physiotherapy Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver inpatient rehabilitation services as part of an in-reach model to Llandrindod Hospital
  • Manage a community caseload independently across Mid Powys
  • Contribute to service development, mentorship of junior staff, and delegation of rehabilitation plans
  • Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of community therapy services
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
  • HPC registration
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate study and personal development
  • Broad working knowledge of Physiotherapy techniques
  • Specialized knowledge in care of elderly and neurological conditions
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate courses
  • Experience working in a community setting
  • Ability to speak Welsh
