About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Crisis Practitioner to join our Therapeutic Home Treatment Team. The successful candidate will work alongside a dynamic and supportive team to provide assessment and interventions to young people presenting with mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and formulate care and treatment plans for young people experiencing mental health crises
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including DBT, CBT, and systemic therapies
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the service's care pathways and protocols

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, social work, occupational therapy)
  • Significant experience of working with young people and families in mental health settings
  • Ability to communicate effectively in highly emotive situations
  • Flexibility to work within a 7-day service, including unsociable hours
