Assembly Labourer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Operations Assistant to join our team at ITS Building People in Cornwall.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a labour-intensive role and be able to lift heavy objects, perform physically demanding tasks, and follow instructions accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site.
2. Perform general maintenance tasks, ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
3. Operate basic machinery and tools as required.
4. Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
5. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
6. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Required Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a construction or labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential.
2. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a Monday to Friday schedule and opportunities for training and professional development. CSCS card and valid driving licence are advantageous but not mandatory.
