Job Title: Asset Inspection Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Asset Inspection Engineer to strengthen our team in Aberdeen or Grangemouth.

Salary and Benefits:

This role comes with a salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Job Description:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting pipelines, pipework, tanks, mechanical protective devices, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and fired heaters
  • Providing recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement of equipment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective asset management
  • Developing and implementing inspection plans to meet client requirements
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (preferred but not essential)
  • 5+ years in inspection engineering
  • Extensive experience in inspecting pipelines, pipework, tanks, mechanical protective devices, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and fired heaters
  • Tank inspection experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Managerial experience (preferred but not essential) to support technical management or act as a deputy inspection technical manager when required
  • Proficiency in computer-based technologies
