About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Concierge to join our team at Hays Business Support. As a Security Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, providing a warm and professional greeting and ensuring a smooth and secure experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming clients, customers, and employees, and providing a site induction
  • Managing access control for staff, visitors, and contractors
  • Carrying out security patrols and Health & Safety checks, and monitoring CCTV as required
  • Prompt response to emergencies, ensuring that the necessary action is taken at the time of the event
  • Completion of accident, incident, and near miss reports
  • Challenging and handling confrontational situations in a calm, professional, and legal manner when required
  • Monitoring Fire, Security, and Intruder Alarms
  • Undertaking a range of admin tasks, including meeting room and car park bookings
  • Meeting room set up & clear down
  • Assisting with the provision of food and beverage service
  • Event support
  • Fire Marshal and First Aider
  • Occasional out of hours support

Requirements:

  • SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence
  • Previous experience of working in a high-end hospitality or Front of House environment
  • Experience of working within a professional, corporate security environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • Intermediate IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g., Excel)
