Role Overview:

As a Welder / Fabricator at Impress Group, you will play a significant role in manufacturing precise components, collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines
• Work with various sections, plates, laser cut, and machined components 1-30+ mm thick
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting
• Demonstrated experience with various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills to support collaboration within production
